Talli Rosner was born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel. She graduated Bezalel Art Academy in 1986 with a BFA. She moved to New York in 1986 and graduated from NYU-ICP Masters program with a MFA. Talli lived and worked in London, Paris, Israel and Italy and currently resides in New Jersey.

During the last 10 years, she has been working as a commercial photographer and has been teaching photography and mixed media while developing her fine-art photography. Talli has had numerous exhibitions and her work is being carried by distinctive galleries and design centers.

Talli’s areas of expertise include black and white mural prints, color prints, non-silver processes, Platinum-Palladium, photo printmaking and mixed media.

Her images range from portraiture and documentary through landscape to still-life. In her photographs, the design and composition of her images and the elements used, reveal the meaning of dreams of life and death.

The light in her pictures always symbolizes a “state of mind” or a surrealistic situation. Recently, she is sculpting with light, portraits and still-lives of flowers, fruits and natural elements.

Talli Rosner

Photographer, artist, teacher, curator & gallery owner

Since 1982, I have worked as a fashion and photojournalist in Israel, London, New York, and across Asia. My work has taken me all over the world, documenting villages and cultures in countries such as Mexico, Cuba, Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica, Vietnam, India, Cambodia, China, Japan, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

In Africa, I have photographed in Morocco, Tanzania, and South Africa. In Europe, my work has taken me to Italy, Greece, France, Holland, Belgium, Norway, England, Russia, Austria, Romania, Croatia, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, the Scandinavian countries, Albania, Serbia, and Slovenia.

My photographs have been exhibited internationally and are included in collections around the world. I owned an art and photography gallery in New York City from 1996 to 2001, before moving to Israel. Today, I own a gallery in Tel Aviv and teach workshops worldwide, creating photographs using a unique 19th-century process.

Over the years, my work has been reproduced as posters for the New York Graphic Society and Scan Decor Hallmark. Each piece varies in price, and many are handmade, one-of-a-kind creations.
